Fresh Information Surface Concerning the Location of the Bodies of Rob and Michele Reiner Bodies

Fresh particulars have surfaced about the shocking deaths of esteemed filmmaker Rob Reiner and artist Michele Singer Reiner, whose remains were discovered at their Brentwood, Los Angeles property on Sunday.

The Alarm

According to a report referencing a family associate, a practitioner arriving for an appointment was the first to notice something was wrong after failing to get inside the residence. The therapist then contacted the couple's daughter, Romy Reiner, who resides nearby.

Upon entering the home, Romy discovered her father's body. Reports state she then fled the house in anguish, unaware at that moment that her mother's body was there as well. Another individual who had gone with her promptly called 911. Following this, emergency responders found Michele Singer Reiner's body.

Criminal Proceedings

The police have formally accused the couple's 32-year-old son, Nick Reiner, with two counts of first-degree murder, including the alleged use of a deadly weapon, reportedly a knife. He is now detained and denied bail.

Correcting the Record

The anonymous source challenged several previously reported details. They said that while Romy Reiner informed first responders that her brother Nick resided in a detached unit on the property, she did not name him as a potential suspect at that moment.

Additionally disputed circulated notions that Rob and Michele Singer Reiner had been particularly "apprehensive" about Nick's conduct in the preceding period. The source claimed the family was "familiar with working through [Nick's] problems together."

This refutation includes descriptions of alleged "erratic" behavior by Nick at a gathering hosted by Conan O'Brien the evening prior to the discovery. While the source stated they were not in a position to confirm whether Rob had "rebuked" his son at the party, they asserted that reports of a "heated argument" between the two were not correct.

Investigation Timeline

Per law enforcement sources, the medical examiner had not yet established at that point whether the Reiners died on Saturday evening or on Sunday. Preliminary accounts suggested the condition of their bodies pointed to they had been deceased for some hours.

Nick Reiner was apprehended at around 9:30 p.m. on Sunday in the neighbourhood of Exposition Park, roughly 15 miles from the scene. He was scheduled to be arraigned on Tuesday, but his attorney, Alan Jackson, indicated his client had a medical issue and would be unable to attend until no sooner than Wednesday.
