Preparing the Premix: Pour all the spirits and syrup into a big jug, allow it to infuse for one hour, then strain best through a fine cloth, so it's perfectly clear.

To serve: Add 85ml from the premix into your cocktail shaker filled with ice, and stir lightly for a minute until cold. Pour into a chilled martini glass or similar, garnish with a few cranberries and complete it with a brief mist with the mandarin essence over the drink.
