Netflix Casts Perfect Performer for Mr. 2 in the Hit Series Season 3

The Secret Organization is set to play a huge role in the forthcoming season on Netflix of One Piece, even if the major clash won’t unfold until season 3, and a cherished, fan-favorite member has recently been selected.

Netflix announced recently that the talented performer has joined the One Piece cast for the third season and will portray Mr. 2. Bon Clay can use their power to change into an perfect replica of any individual they’ve made contact with with their right hand. The actor, who is non-binary and prefers they/them pronouns, will portray a rendition of that figure reinterpreted as non-binary identifying, rather than as a drag performer, in the live-action series, as in the source material and anime.

This performer will work alongside several other fresh additions who will portray Baroque Works to reality, such as leader Sir Crocodile, brought to life by Joe Manganiello, Sophia Anne Caruso as a key member, and Sendhil Ramamurthy, who will appear as the lineup as King Nefertari Cobra of Alabasta.

Even though Bon Clay is a major member of the group, the character won’t make their debut One Piece season 3. Considering season 2 expected to adapt the Little Garden storyline, this marks a notable change in the schedule of the character’s debut, one that could indicate more adjustments to the plot development.

The actor’s combination of excellent comedic sense and deep sensitivity makes them a ideal selection for the character. Besides their latest vocal work in the youth-focused cartoon movie Boys Go to Jupiter, they earned widespread acclaim and multiple awards for penning and acting in the hit comedy play Oh Mary!, showcasing the adaptability they’ll bring to one of One Piece’s widely praised characters.

Netflix's live-action One Piece series is scheduled to come back for its next installment on the tenth of March, 2026.
